How to check your user code

Find your user code to share it in the app.

Open the Multi Menu and select the PROFILE icon to move to the user code screen.

On the PROFILE screen, check the user code location highlighted in the screenshot and note the 10-digit code.

How to create a custom room

Steps for hosting a room and inviting another player.

Start from FIGHTING GROUND to enter the versus flow.

Inside FIGHTING GROUND, select CUSTOM ROOM to open the custom room menu.

Choose "Create Room" from the CUSTOM ROOM menu.

"Create Room" -> "Mode Settings". Set MODE to SINGLES and at least one station to ONE ON ONE

In Mode Settings, set MODE to SINGLES and ensure at least one station is set to ONE ON ONE.

"Create Room" -> "Rule Settings". Recommended: rounds 3, timer 99, first-to 2 or 3

In Rule Settings, recommended values are rounds 3, timer 99, and first-to 2 or 3.

"Create Room" -> "Room Settings". Capacity 2, private slot 1, private visibility, connection restriction all, no passcode

Use the following room settings.

  • Capacity: 2.
  • Private Slots: 1.
  • Room Visibility: Private.
  • Spectating from Outside Room: Private.
  • Connection Restriction: All.
  • Passcode: None (do not set).
  • Check connection quality after entering the custom room.

Once these settings are complete, select the "Create Room" button.

On the room main screen, you can use chat, battle settings (character change), and the menu (invite / room settings).

Open the main menu and select "Invite".

After selecting Invite, move to the "Search" tab and select "Search by User Code".

In the user code input dialog, enter the 10-digit user code shown in the app to invite the other player.

How to search for a custom room

Join a custom room using shared room information.

From FIGHTING GROUND, proceed to CUSTOM ROOM.

In the CUSTOM ROOM menu, select "Search Rooms".

On the Search Rooms screen, choose "Search Menu" to select the search method.

Select "Find room by user code" and search using the shared user code.

If you join via invitation, use "Check Invitations" from the CUSTOM ROOM menu.

On the invitation screen, refresh to fetch incoming invitations.

Join from the displayed invitation or search result and start the match.
